Sleater Kinney @ Webster Hall 8/02/06
You can't leave us Sleater Kinney! Not after a show like tonight at Webster Hall. Once again Sleater Kinney has proven that they are one of the best live bands in the world. It was over 100 degrees today in New York City and much, much hotter inside Webster Hall, but it didn't matter.
Their heroes were on stage making a statement for posterity's sake. A statement of their dominance as a live band. The ladies poured their heart and souls out on stage and the fans drank it up and gave it back ten fold. Some highlights for the AngryCitizen were Light Rail Coyote and Dig me Out. The triumphant nature of tonights show was slightly dampened due to Sleater Kinney‘s impending hiatus/breakup. But forget about that for a second and focus on how perfect the ladies were tonight.
